Dawley Christian Centre

Welcome to the Dawley Christian Centre website. We hope that you will find the information on these pages both helpful and informative.

The Dawley Christian Centre is a Methodist Church and as such is part of the Telford Methodist Circuit and is a founder member of the Central Telford Ecumenical Partnership (CTEP), and part of Telford Christian Council.

The Dawley Christian Centre (DXC) strives to show the love of Jesus Christ through Worship and Social Involvement.

Our Worship takes a number of styles from formal Sunday Services to informal Prayer and Bible Study sessions. We also hold a Weekly Communion Service on a Thursday morning and a monthly Wednesday lunchtime Communion Service. In our entrance area is a place for you to leave requests for prayer for yourself or others and these are incorporated in our main act of Worship each Sunday.

The small chapel is available for people to be quiet and to pray, a minister is normally available to talk with, just ask.

Our Social action takes place in our Coffee Bar that is open 6 mornings a week and staffed entirely by volunteers.

We also provide on our premises courses run by Telford College of Art and Technology (TCAT), and Smoking Cessation Sessions provided by Telford Primary Care Trust.

We have recently started a Youth Club for young people aged 11 – 15 on a Friday evening and during most half terms organise a Craft Session based on a bible theme for Children under 11.

Dawley Christian Centre provides a Christian place of Worship, Love and Service at the very heart of Dawley.
